Edwardian Cased Set of Four Silver Trophy Cup Salts. Each salt with twin flying scroll handles and reeded detail.
Each salt is hallmarked for Birmingham 1907 by William Hutton & Sons Ltd. The spoons are mixed and all are hallmarked English silver, but do not match the salt hallmarks.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. One salt has had a silver solder repair to the foot and a strengthening disc fitted to the underside (last two photos). The original fitted case is in poor condition, but does its job of keeping the salts and spoons secure.
Approximate total silver weight of the four salts and four spoons is 180 grams or 5.7 troy ounces.
Approximate total cased weight is 664 grams.
Approximate salt dimensions are 9 cm length, 6 cm bowl diameter and 4.7 cm height.
Approximate spoon length is 7 cm.
Approximate case dimensions are 24 cm length, 19 cm width and 6.5 cm height.
