Edwardian set of six silver handled Queens pattern fruit knives and forks housed in a mahogany and flame mahogany case. The prongs and blades are silver plated and have ornate engraved decoration.
In excellent order and the set would appear to be unused. This is not the original fitted case, but is of high quality being of mahogany and flame mahogany with a vacant cartouche. There is a split in the top of the case.
Each knife and fork handle is hallmarked for Sheffield 1901 by the silversmith B&M, of whom I can find no record.
Approximate weight of cutlery and case is 1.237 kilos.
Approximate dimensions of case are 29 cm length, 24 cm width and 5 cm height.
Approximate knife length is 20 cm.
Approximate fork length is 18.5 cm.
