Edwardian Pair of Pierced Silver Pedestal Dishes. The elegant pierced dishes are held aloft by cherubs. A dove with wings spread as the finial for each pierced cover. A discrete monogram of JYB on each foot.
Each dish is hallmarked to the foot for Birmingham 1910 by Asprey & Co. Ltd. The covers are part hallmarked and there is an Asprey London retail stamp to the underside along with a design registration number.
Both dishes and covers are in excellent condition with no damage to any of the pierced detail. There are no dents or creases. One cover does not quite sit fully flush and is a little springy, as shown in the photographs.
Approximate weight for both dishes and covers is 351 grams or 11.2 troy ounces.
