Matching pair of silver candlesticks with fluted urn shaped sconces. Features a tapering stem and a fluted & reeded base. The removable oval nozzles are reeded and the candlestick bases are filled. Each nozzle and candlestick are marked 9 and 10.
Each base and nozzle is hallmarked for London 1903 by Charles & George Asprey and features the ASPREY LONDON retail stamp. Each candlestick also has a 1903 design regsitration number.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age and some clouding to the silver on the stems (pictures 4 and 5). The date letter on one base is rubbed, but readable.
Approximate dimensions of one are 20 cm height, 11.5 cm base length and 9 cm base width.
