A silver box by Asprey of London. Features engine turned detail and a later vacant cartouche. The base and cover both feature wheatsheaf detail to the borders and the interior is cedar wood lined.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear. The base is leather covered wood and is not weighted. Very slight gap between the cover and base, when in the closed position.
Hallmarked to the interior rim of the main body for London 1960 by Asprey & Co Ltd and featuring the ASPREY LONDON retail stamp. The cover is hallmarked with the lion passant, leopard's head and Asprey maker's mark. The Asprey signature mark is also present on the interior rim.
Approximate weight, including the wood and leather is 428 grams. The base is not filled.
