Excellent quality Victorian silver plated trophy cup and cover with gilt metal bouquet of flowers finial and ornate twin handles. The body features repousse decoration of flowers and leaves. The cup is raised upon an engraved and beaded circular pedestal foot.
There are two engravings on the cup. One is "Handsworth Show 1869" and the other is to "John Lomas Jr Feb 11th 1916"
I cannot see any loss of silver plate or damage. There will be light surface wear. It's an outstanding piece of craftsmanship that has been very well looked after.
