Field Marshal George Charles Bingham, 3rd Earl of Lucan, GCB Portrait Engraving Roundel. Known for the Fateful Order at the Battle of Balaclava in October 1854 that led to the Earl of Cardigan Leading the Doomed Charge of the Light Brigade. He was Anglo Irish and a ruthless landlord during the Great Famine in Ireland. The family seats were Castlebar House in County Mayo and Laleham House in Surrey.
