Cased Set of Six First World War Naval Silver Teaspoons. Each spoon features the image of a Royal Navy ship with the words "Our Defence 1914". The tip of the terminal features a crown and there is an identical monogram to each. The spoons are housed in a tooled leather case with burgundy velvet and satin interior.
Each spoon is hallmarked for London 1914 by Josiah Williams & Co (George Jackson & David Fullerton).
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. Some rubbing to the maker's marks. Wear to the case exterior.
Approximate weight of all six spoons is 75 grams or 2.4 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 11 cm length and 2.2 cm bowl width.
Approximate case dimensions are 17 cm length, 15 cm width and 3 cm height.
