French Silver Plated Box Depicting a Nurse Attending a French Soldier of The Great War. Of circular form with a pull off cover and wheatsheaf style detail. The Kepi hat worn by the soldier was in use from about 1870, in the Franco Prussian War, until the early part of The Great War.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The box has been replated. Free of any dents or splits.
The underside is marked Unis France, 59 & LFA with a flag symbol.
