A Large Pair of George III Old Sheffield Plate Crested Sauce Boats, circa 1780 - 1810. Both raised on shell capped hoof feet with scroll handles.

Approximate weight for the pair is 912 grams.

Approximate dimensions of one are 20 cm length, 10.3 cm width and 11.8 cm height.

Both feature the crossed arrow mark and the initials WJ. Possibly for T & J Creswick.

In good condition being free of dents, creases, splits and repair. Silver layer to the interior of one has an area where the copper is visible. High wear to both handles.
