George III, pair of Old Sheffield Plate meat domes, engraved with the crest and motto of Farquharson. Both feature naturalistic handles of acorns and oak leaves. One meat dome features the crest to each side, while the other has it on one side only. The handles are identical at the bases, but slightly different on the gripping part. Both domes feature a band of gadrooned decoration. The pair date to the early 19th century.

In excellent order, with no dents or repairs. There will be signs of use and surface wear as they are 200 years old. One of the domes is not polished to the interior.

Approximate weight for the pair is 5.25 kilos.

Approximate dimensions for one is 45 cm length, 34 cm width and 23 cm height.
