
A Pair of George III Old Sheffield Plate Oval Pedestal Sauce Tureens. The tureens have gadrooned borders and reeded loop handles, circa 1790 - 1810. The cover handles are fixed and cannot be removed. The covers with rolled over silver edges.
Approximate weight for the pair is 1.126 kilos.
Approximate dimensions of one are 22 cm length, 11.8 cm width and 15.5 cm height.
In good condition being free of dents and creases. Small areas of light copper bleed. The tureens marked 1 and 3, the covers marked 1 and 2. The covers with ladle slots. Free of any inscriptions, or engravings.
