Georgian, George III, silver coffee pot with fruit wood handle and ornate cast spout. Later chased scroll and flower detail. Features two vacant cartouches.
Condition is good with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. The cover has had a silver disc applied at the top, through which the finial is fixed. When viewed from inside the cover you can see that this disc covers a jagged hole in the original silver. This is shown in the last photo. Some play in the cover hinge. The coffee pot is watertight. The pot is free of dents and creases.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1802 by William Hall. Further part hallmarked to the inside of the cover with the lion passant.
Approximate weight is 731 grams or 23.5 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 29.5 cm height, 22 cm handle to spout length and 11.5 cm depth.
