Georgian, George IV, pair of Fiddle and double struck Thread pattern sauce ladles. Each features a fine crest of a bird of prey, or possibly a griffin, above a fish, together with the bright cut engraved monogram of B. The ladles are of a heavy gauge of silver.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear.
Each is hallmarked for London 1827 by Josiah Piercy I.
Approximate weight for the pair is 154 grams or 4.95 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions for one ladle are 17 cm length and 6.3 cm bowl width.
