George V, carved ivory handle and silver ferrule canteen of fruit or dessert cutlery, housed within a fitted walnut case. The canteen consists of twelve knives and twelve forks. Each silver plated knife blade and fork tine is engraved with leaf decoration. The carved ivory handles have ornate terminals. Even the silver ferrules have fine embossed decoration.
Condition is very good with moderate surface wear. One knife blade is slightly offset within the handle and one handle has some minor damage at the terminal.

The silver ferrules are hallmarked for Sheffield 1923 by William Hutton & Sons. The silver plated knife blades and fork tines are marked for William Hutton & Sons.
