Georgian, George I, Silver Mug. Of plain cylindrical form with initials of MA to the front. It holds about 350 ml when full to the brim.
Hallmarked as Britannia silver (95.8% silver content) for London 1718. The maker's mark is partially obscured but can be read as the mark of Charles Overing.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
