Six George II Silver Tablespoons of Hanoverian Pattern. The spoons were part of the contents of Dutton Manor, Lancashire, a large Victorian house built for the Fenton family by Isaac Taylor in 1872 in the Elizabethan style. Each spoon has an initial to the terminal and is reverse crested with a bird.

All are clearly hallmarked with bottom struck marks for London 1742 by James Wilks. 

All are in excellent order with well defined bowl tips. Free of dents, creases and repair. Light surface wear commensurate with age.

Approximate weight of all six spoons is 413 grams or 13.2 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 20.4 cm length and 4.2 cm bowl width.
