Georgian, George III, Cased Set of Silver & Mother of Pearl Fruit Knives & Forks for Eighteen (thirty six pieces in total).
Eleven knives & eleven forks are hallmarked for London 1809. Six knives & six forks are hallmarked for London 1810. One knife & one fork are hallmarked for London 1803. All pieces are by Moses Brent.
In very good condition with higher wear and some repairs to the mother of pearl handles as per the photographs. The silver blades and tines are all in very good condition. Some loose collars, but no loose handles. The fitted case does not close fully shut, but may well be the original as the interior is fitted out perfectly for this set.
Approximate total cased weight is 1.6 kilos.
Approximate knife dimensions are 18 cm length and 1.3 cm blade width.
Approximate fork dimensions are 15 cm length and 1.2 cm tine width.
Approximate case dimensions are 21 cm length, 18 cm width and 5.5 cm height.
