Georgian, George III, set of four Scottish silver sauce or toddy ladles. Each has a monogram of D to the terminal.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Each is hallmarked with the thistle mark for Edinburgh, the kings head duty mark and the makers mark of Francis Howden who was active between 1783 and 1817. There is no date letter.
Approximate weight of all four ladles is 90 grams or 2.8 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one are 16 cm length and 4.3 cm bowl width.
