Georgian, George III, neo classical silver candlestick. Features swag decoration amid classical scenes. The candlestick is of column form, supporting an urn shaped holder.
Hallmarked to the base for London 1776 by Robert Makepeace & Richard Carter. The removable sconce / drip tray has the lion passant and the maker IC.
In excellent condition with no faults. The filled base has been recovered in green baize at some point.
