Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Armorial Tray, circa 1790 - 1810. Of oval form with twin acanthus capped and reeded handles. The border is gadrooned and the tray is raised on four claw pad feet. In original condition with central armorial. Large enough to use as a tea or serving tray. Features rolled over silver edges.

In excellent order with moderate surface wear, commensurate with age. A little copper bleed to the underside and some surface markings. No dents, creases, solder repairs or splits.

Approximate weight is 1.8 kilos.

Approximate dimensions are 53 cm length, 34 cm width and 5 cm height.
