Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Coffee Pot, circa 1780. Of baluster form with monogram to one side and ornate cast spout. The hinged and domed cover with beaded finial. Pseudo "hallmarks" to one side.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The pot is free of dents and creases. The item has not been replated and retains its original silver layer. One spot of solder repair half way along the length of the spout where the fluted detail ends.
Approximate weight is 418 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 23 cm height, 17 cm handle to spout length and 9.5 cm depth.
