Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate, fiddle pattern, pierced fish slice. circa 1790 - 1810. The blade features ornate piercing and a wreath enclosed monogram.
This fish slice was from the collection of Gordon Crosskey, author of Old Sheffield Plate: A History of the 18th Century Plated Trade.
In very good order with moderate surface wear, particularly to the blade edge and some copper bleed.
Approximate weight is 157 grams.
