Georgian, George III period, Old Sheffield Plate Heated Dish, circa 1800 - 1810. Raised on three bun feet and featuring twin loop handles. The cover can be removed and the base filled with hot water. Once the cover has been put back in place then any food placed into the dish will be kept warm.
In excellent order with minimal copper bleed to the handles. Free of dents and splits.
