Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Salver, circa 1790. The salver is of oval form and features a raised & reeded border. It is raised on four bracket feet and has a central armorial.

In very good condition with moderate surface wear, some pitting and copper bleed. Free of any dents, repairs or splits

The salver features the Marital arms of Brydges and Byrche.  Sir Samuel Brydges of Denton Court 1st Baronet. was MP for Maidstone from 1812 to 1818 and was created a baronet in 1814. A copy of the heraldry report will be given to the buyer.

The salver can be resilvered, for an additional charge, if a buyer wishes.
