Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Salver. Crested for the English family of Farmley, Co. Dublin, Ireland. The salver dates to around 1780. Of rectangular form with a gadrooned border and raised on four outswept bracket feet. The vacant field with a central crest and a tinned underside.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Higher wear to the gadrooned border.
Approximate weight is 619 grams.
