Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate, Tea Caddy. Circa 1800. of oval form with beaded detail and an urnular finial. The hinged cover with a monogram.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Areas of light copper bleed, around the monogram and hinge. Higher wear and a minor crease to the hinge area. The tea caddy has not been replated.
Approximate weight is 264 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 10.5 cm height, 10 cm length and 8.5 cm width.
