Georgian, George III, Pair of Old Sheffield Plate Bottle Coasters, circa 1810 - 1820. Of circular form with heavily gadrooned rims, turned wooden bases and central bosses. Felt covering to the undersides.
One bears the crossed arrows mark of T & J Creswick of Sheffield and the other has an obscured mark.
In good condition, free of dents and creases. High amount of copper bleed, The wooden bases moving in their crimped rim sockets, but this does not affect use.
Approximate weight for the pair is 452 grams.
Approximate dimensions of one are 15 cm diameter and 4.5 cm height.
