Georgian, George III, Pair of Old Sheffield Plate Candlesticks, circa 1800 - 1810. The stepped oval bases with acanthus leaf detail to the well. The tapering stem with reeded and acanthus detail. The sconces with more acanthus and the fixed nozzles with beading.
In very good condition with a fair amount of copper bleed. Both sticks stand straight and are free of dents and splits. The underside of the bases with a white metal finish.
Approximate weight for the pair is 705 grams.
Approximate dimensions of one are 20 cm height and 11.5 cm base length.
