George III pair of Old Sheffield Plate sauce tureens, circa 1810. This pair of tureens are of twin handled oval form and feature domed covers with urn finials and reeded borders. Both are raised upon oval pedestal feet. The covers with silver wire edges.
Condition is excellent with moderate surface wear and a little copper bleed.
There are no makers marks.
Approximate weight for the pair is 708 grams.
Approximate dimensions of one are 20 cm length, 12 cm width and 14 cm height.
