Georgian, George III, Pair of Old Sheffield Plate Tea Caddies, circa 1780. Of baluster form with pull off covers. Each caddy is raised on a circular foot, supported by a square base. The domed cover with an urnular finial on a bed of leaves. The main body with beaded and leaf detail along with bows & swags.
In excellent condition with light copper bleed to the high points. Wear around the base of one with more acute copper bleed.
