Georgian, George III, pair of silver sauce boats of oval, bellied form with leaf capped open scroll handles. Raised upon three leaf capped supported hoof feet. Each features a monogram to one side and crimped rims.
Condition for both is excellent with light surface wear.
Each sauce boat is hallmarked for London 1783 by Benjamin Mountigue.
Approximate weight for the pair is 271 grams or 8.71 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one are 14.5 cm length, 7.5 cm width and 9 cm height.
