Georgian, George III, set of Twelve Scottish Silver Pastry or Dessert Forks. The twelve forks have silver handles and silver stems & tines. Each fork has an identical monogram.

In excellent order with light surface wear and the occasional light pressure mark to the handles. The handles are most likely filled.

Each stem/tine is part hallmarked with the kings head duty mark and the thistle mark, confirming it as sterling silver. There are no maker's marks or date letters. The handles are part hallmarked with the kings head and thistle marks. Some of these marks are rubbed but I have photographed all of them to illustrate this. The George III head mark dates these forks to between 1786 - 1822, whilst the thistle mark confirms them as Edinburgh silver.

Approximate weight of all twelve forks is 475 grams.

Approximate dimensions of one fork are 17 cm length and 1.3 cm tine width.
