Georgian, George III, silver caster. Of baluster form, with a pierced cover and flame finial. Raised on a spreading circular foot.
In very good condition and free of dents and creases. There has been a repair to the pierced decoration of the cover and two of the pierced holes are larger than they should be, as shown in the photos.
Hallmarked for London 1763 by Samuel Wood. Further part hallmarked to the cover with the lion passant.
Approximate weight is 94 grams or 3 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 12.5 cm height and 4.5 cm base diameter.
