Georgian, George III, crested silver coffee biggin. Of slight baluster form with applied wheatsheaf decoration under the spout. Raised on a circualr foot with a gadrooned upper rim. A coffee biggin has an inernal rim to suspend a mesh filter from a metal loop.
In excellent order with very light surface wear, commensurate with age. Free of dents, creases and splits.
Hallmarked for London 1809 by Robert Hennell I & Samuel Hennell. The cover is part hallmarked.
