Georgian, George III, Silver Coffee Pot. Of pedestal and lobed form with a loop handle and turned wooden final on a domed and hinged cover. Raised on a spreading oval foot. Features an armorial to both sides.
The armorial relates to the Marital Arms of Foster & Grazebrook. This would have celebrated the marriage of William Orme Foster and Isabella Grazebrook. William Foster was an industrialist and involved in mining, ironworks, furnaces and engineering works, as well as being a landowner. He was the Member of Parliament for South Staffordshire between 1857 and 1868. The heraldry report accompanies this item.
