Georgian, George III, silver double lipped toddy ladle with inset coin. The inset coin is a George II 1758 silver shilling. The handle is of twisted whalebone, or baleen.
In excellent condition with light surface wear, commensurate with age. Free of dents and splits.
Hallmarked for London 1793 by John Merry. The maker's mark is partially obscured but just readable as I M.
Approximate weight is 40 grams.
