Georgian, George III, silver entree dish and cover with fixed handle. The cover features two bands of gadrooned detail with scroll and foliate engraving. The inside of the dish and one side of the outside of the cover feature a lion crest. The other side of the cover has an armorial relating to the family of Heming.
Condition is excellent with moderate surface wear and scratches to the base of the serving dish, commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarked to the dish and cover for London 1801 by Richard Cook.
