Georgian, George III, Silver Hot Water Jug. Of plain baluster form with an armorial to one side. The spout is angular and ornately decorated, whilst the handle is insulated with cane. The jug is raised on a gadrooned circular foot and the domed cover features a turned finial.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1771 by Charles Wright. The rim of the cover is hallmarked with a lion passant.
In excellent order, free of dents, creases and splits. Light surface wear commensurate with age.
The approximate weight is 716 grams or 23 troy ounces.
