Georgian, George III, silver hot water jug with Ducal Coronet engraving. Of bellied form with a leather covered handle. The domed cover features a finial and gadrooned border. The spout is ornate and cast.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1763 by John Barbe. The inner rim of the lid is also hallmarked with the lion passant and the maker's mark.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight is 449 grams or 14.4 troy ounces.
