Georgian, George III, Silver Inkstand. Raised on four fluted bracket feet. The base of shaped oval form with reeded detail. Two cut glass inkwells flank a further cut glass bottle mounted by a taperstick holder and snuffer.
Hallmarked in nine different places for London 1799 -1801, all by John Emes. All hallmarks have been photographed.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. A very minor nibble to the base of one glass bottle.
Approximate silver weight is 465 grams or 14.9 troy ounces.
