Georgian, George III, silver twin handled loving cup with monogram to one side and faded wheatsheaf crest to the other side.
The cup is in very good condition with no dents or splits. Moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some areas of firestain, which manifest as cloudy patches.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1768 by John French. The mark is listed in Grimwade's unregistered marks, but attributed to John French.
Approximate weight is 296 grams or 9.5 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 18 cm handle to handle length, 13 cm height and 9.5 cm depth.
