Georgian, George III, silver & mother of pearl handled dessert knives & forks for twelve in original fitted case. The case is of tooled red leather with a faded red velvet interior.
In excellent order. The case is in outstanding condition with just light wear to the leather. There are no splits, pins or losses to the mother of pearl handles. The knife blades and fork tines all have minimal surface wear.
Each fork stem and knife blade is hallmarked for Sheffield 1817. There are no maker's marks. This is not unusual for Georgian silver cutlery.
Approximate cased weight is 1.65 kilos.
