Georgian, George III, Silver Mounted Old Sheffield Plate Cruet Stand. One end of the navette shaped stand is crested and this crest is repeated on the four bottle mounts. The stand is raised on four claw and ball feet. The raised border with beaded detail and leaf capped terminals to either end. The four ornate pierced bottle holders with beaded borders. There are four cut glass bottles with stoppers that all appear to be original to the stand. One bottle has a spoon attached to the stopper and is for cayenne pepper.
Three of the bottle mounts are marked for London 1800. The fourth mount has distorted marks. All of the mounts have idenitcal crests to that of the stand. The pierced bottle holders are not marked, but appear to be silver.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. One bottle with a chip to the base.
