Georgian, George III, silver pedestal mustard pot & liner. Of compressed circular form with leaf capped handle and gadrooned borders. Raised on a stepped circular foot. The domed cover with ball finial. The mustard pot has a blue glass liner.
In excellent order with no silver or glass damage. Light surface wear, commensurate with age. There is a very slight gap on one side when the cover is closed.
Hallmarked to the body and part hallmarked to the inside of the cover. The date on the body is rubbed, but can be read on the inside of the cover for London 1816. The maker's mark is I.B and is one of three possible makers at that time (John Brough, John Booth or Joseph Biggs).
Approximate silver weight is 120 grams or 3.8 troy ounces.
Approximate total weight, including liner is 182 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 11 cm length , 7.5 cm top rim diameter and 7.5 cm height.
