Georgian, George III, silver salver with gadrooned and shell border on three claw feet. In the centre of the salver is a large heraldic crest with the Latin motto " DUX VITAE RATIO" (REASON IS THE GUIDE OF LIFE).
In very good order with only light surface wear.
Hallmarked to the underside for London 1763 by Elizabeth Cooke. Also features the silversmiths original scratch weight.
Approximate weight is 253 grams or 8 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 17.5 cm diameter and 2.5 cm height.
