Georgian, George III, silver teapot of oval form with gadrooned border under the lid and a reeded band to the body. Features unusual canted corners to the main body and sits on four ball feet. Brown moulded handle and moulded finial.
In excellent order with minor surface wear only.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1809 Charles Fox I. The inside of the lid is further hallmarked with the lion passant and date letter.
Approximate weight is 502 grams or 16.1 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 28.5 cm length, 17.5 cm height and 12 cm depth.
