Georgian, George III, Silver Teapot. Raised on four ball feet with wooden handle and knop. Monogrammed cartouche to one side and vacant cartouche to the other side. Features Greek key and prick work detail to the borders.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for Newcastle 1807 by George Murray.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. There has been a seam repair in the area of the handle, but this is tidy and the teapot does not leak. There are no dents, creases or splits. A little clouding of the silver in the handle area.
Approximate weight is 499 grams or 16 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 30 cm length, 11 cm depth and 15 cm height.
