A George III two part silver wine funnel with a gadrooned rim and bands of reeded detail.
Hallmarked for London 1807 by Thomas Wallis II. Both the strainer and the funnel are hallmarked although the maker on the funnel is fully rubbed. The strainer does not have a year letter.
Moderate surface wear commensurate with age and a patch repair to the strainer part (best seen in the 8th photo).
Approximate dimensions are 13.5 cm length and 7 cm diameter.
Approximate weight is 137 grams or 4.4 troy ounces.
