Georgian, George IV, crested silver shaving brush. The body and cap both feature two identical  crests. One crest appears to be a lion, in the naive style. The other crest is possibly a dragon or griffin. The main body is hollow.

In very good order with moderate surface wear. No dents, splits or creases.

Hallmarked to the inside of the cap for London 1824 by John Reily. The main body has rubbed hallmarks but can make out the mark of John Reily and the duty mark. The bristle holder is hallmarked with the lion passant.

Approximate total weight is 81 grams.

Approximate dimensions are 14 cm length and 2.7 cm diameter.
